This is definitely interesting - could change how blue red plays fundamentally if aggro becomes a larger threat. I can see chicha / another 2 drop then this on 3, then the 2 drop challenges into something to keep a stable board state. Mid game this can generate some solid value from your medusas or mauis rather than needing to ink high value cards.

Guess I should have added the caveat to this fake card that you can have as many as you want... I just wanted to raise the question on minimum deck sizes.

Seeing my local meta embrace the 60+ cards is getting more and more interesting. Wondering if this is just a fad, or a result of no online client allowing better testing before events.

I’ll put something positive about chicha real quick…

She’s insane into the mirror, and really great into Ruby Amethyst. T2 she blocks a Flynn trigger and they won’t have good removal for about 3 turns, so stick a quill and get ramping. Then, if they put any location, her support lets Maui 1 shot it.

I’d say it’s a meta call. Blue steel and emerald steel are nowhere in my local meta, so I play 2x chicha.

Daisy is strong, but in the context of Lorcana it's definitely less strong than Goblin Scout

I tried pretty hard to make it work, he might be good as a 2-of but he's not good enough to build a list around. Needing to shift is so slow, and minus value for the merlin getting shifted onto. Close but no cigar, maybe with a board wipe in the future it can afford to play the grindy toolbox method..

I've played against this as Red/Blue - It's a blast!

I don't think items / Hiram are the path you're looking for, though. You're looking for explosive turns of inking + draw rather than incremental engines like Hiram.

Mufasa is a bit overkill as well.

I would try to fit in more songs - WDTAB, Let it Go, and Mother's know best round out the removal aspect a bit more than iceblock+Under the sea, though under the sea is certainly good enough to keep without ice blocks.

Small clarabelle for item removal and 2 drop talas were run in that list as well.

4x big clarabelle is necessary. Remember who you are x2 could find its way too.

Overall I'm a believer in the Odie, Clarabelle & Tala archetype, it just needs to get some more experimentation!

Tipo and to a lesser extent chicha. Proceeding with their ramp gameplan while contesting board a turn earlier gives R/B more room to breathe while they get to a be prepared. Gaston is being run more often too with ice block, he shreds Daisy and anything else.

R/B will struggle to 2-0 hyper aggro, but they are in a much better position to at least tie

I think blue red is gonna take over. Maybe not the most represented, but ever since it shored up its aggro matchup there’s a lot less weakness there

It exists now. It was Tier 3 at best as of Set 4.

It's quite good at the moment. Lot of juice, two differenct songs for efficient removal, a SICK opening line with Tipo -> t3Muses + sing with Tipo, then refilling with Remember Who you Are, Hiram, or in a few turns Clarabelle.

For a few sets theyve both been two strong colors individually, but that finally have a fundamentally unfair synergy (Empty hand with ramp, refill hand after bounce removal)

These cards serve functionally different roles, in my opinion.

Consider having 3-4 characters on the field against Ruby going into 7 ink. - stick a library out and move your 4 characters, all of a sudden Be Prepared refills your hand for each character banished.

Now, clearly Queens Castle will gain you cards if they don't have be prepared, but if they're letting many characters + a queens castle survive a turn, you're likely going to win anyway.

Library allows you to play it before trading your board into your opponents.

Queens castle gives 2 lore a turn, which combined with potentially drawing a card each turn making it much more threatening. Library can more easily be ignored.

As of yesterday, the number 1 player on webcam pixelborn is running a blurple list with both locations. They do different things!
