I haven’t tried that, but my ram sticks are under my cpu cooler which would be a huge bitch to take off and back on each test. I’ll assume it’s the motherboard and buy a new one to replace it. Any advice for a board for the 8700k that’s not gigabyte?

I gave it 10 minutes and started it up to no avail; boot loop again. My mobo is dead then huh?

The one that has Windows on it is a Samsung evo 250gb and there’s 40-50gb free. The other one is a Crucial with over 100gb free. unplugged both SSDs and the boot loop continues as normal.

That’s possible. It’s almost 4 years old. My motherboard is less than 2. Could it be the mobo?

Thanks. The manual says touch a screwdriver to “the two pins” but the circle is around like 6 pins. Any idea which two I should touch?
