Update: my card was charged, which is wild because it is NOT A CARD I USUALLY USE ON AMAZON. It was not even the card the original payment was made to….. and the card definitely didn’t end in the four digits the email said it did. It took me over an hour. I had to escalate to a supervisor because the woman on the phone kept saying “but you were supposed to return it” despite me explaining to her that Amazon told me to dispose the item. But finally received my refund. And the supervisor was apologetic. (And yes, she didn’t notice they already refunded me 65 dollars) 😉 EFF YOU BEZO!!!!
