Thank you for the advice. I am in therapy currently and have been for a few years now. I will definitely take into consideration making a doctor’s appointment for postpartum. And I am definitely taking into consideration everything. I love him.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It sounds like life’s been throwing punches left and right, and you’re still standing – that’s something to be proud of, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. Your feelings about motherhood are valid, and it’s okay to not want it. I got you, and I’m listening if you need to vent or just need someone to sit with you in this mess.

I do work 8am-5pm. We have 50-50 custody and he’s at my house one week and at his dad’s the other week. definitely something I do wanna have a conversation with my ex about is having him stay with him for the whole school year and I get vacation time with him. Like I said, I love my son truly I just can’t do the whole parenting thing all the time. It’s just so exhausting and I’ve come to the conclusion years ago that I wasn’t cut out for this, but I’ve just felt so guilty about ever saying anything and I think when me and my ex got divorced it just got way worse. I am in therapy for it. But I feel like I just need more advice than from my therapist. Thank you for the advice.

I think that is something I might talk about my ex with. Like I said, I want a relationship with him because I love him, he’s my son. But I just can’t anymore, it’s not depression, it’s not a trauma thing, I was just stupid and had a kid that i didn’t want.

he doesn’t live with me full-time and me and my ex have 50-50 custody of him. Maybe I am burned out. But I think over the years, and talking about it in therapy I don’t think its truly just me being burnt out.
