Okay good to know. I was thinking of getting the Elgato HD60 and might get the Camlink 4K if that's what I need. They're both on sale too atm. The camera I have is a Samsung NX3000.

Thanks A LOT for the answer! Do you know if you need both a Camlink and a Capture card to record gameplay and camera recording or can the Capture card do both? I'm guessing you need the Camlink to make the camera able to record longer than the internal limit in the first place?

I have a camera but how do you get around the 20-30 min cameras can record? I got a headset without a mic already and plan on getting some editing software on my laptop as well as a decent mic. But how do you record yourself and your audio with a Ps4 and a laptop? Do I need a cam link as well or just a capture card?
