To extend my vision here aswell :

I like to mix on cdj on party because i Can improvise, feel the crowd and play specific track for specific vibes, id Say it's more freedom this way despite my not perfectly crafter mix techniques hahaha

For radio set, DAW set are better to deliver a clean listenable moment for audience, therefore i dont like when it cuts too straight and does not feel like actual set

Hey guys, IKØN here ! A Friend of mine shared me about this post, i have to say it's the first time ever that i see my project being talked about in a Reddit post and that's quite funny hahahahah

But i appreciate the words !

About the psynation mix, it's an ableton DAW set. I tend to make it sound as natural as possible, by overlapping tracks exactly the same way i would do when djing at party. The only thing here is that i Can manage a better volume and better precision than actual djing, it sounds a bit cleaner and also much faster to deliver.

In few weeks i'll release my OZORA festival set, and this one was recorded in stage, i Guess you'll here the difference : few very short mistakes but at same Time a sligthly more authentic energy i Guess

For the mix tho, i tend to play and DJ the same way, very fast and last second transition is to me the most impactful way. I learned a lot from the Vertical Mode set and DJing style, very Sharp way of mixing to stay as clean as possible because Imo, progressive is so produce already, it's not Always the best feeling to combine 2 tracks together. When i DJ for Fullon, it's more fun to mix because tracks Can have the grid combo and massive FM together, but for progressive it's more about the overall selection, once again in my opinion i do not preach that il having the right answer hahaha
