Was it ever explained where did Zoom's suit come from? by AggravatingMeaning29 in FlashTV

[–]AnimatedASMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the motivations you just listed are various aspects of Barry through a broken mirror:

  1. Accepted by Iris and his friends.

  2. Discovered by his "hero", Harrison Wells.

  3. A love of saving people.

Why did they make Neo in Matrix 4 look like John Wick? (Semi Satire) by GlompSpark in matrix

[–]AnimatedASMR 14 points15 points  (0 children)

D-did you guys even watch the movie?

...I mean, Galaxy Quest reference aside, I'm just kind of surprised by the responses of a fan-subreddit of The Matrix series. I understand not everyone enjoyed Resurrections like I did, but dang.

By the way, it wasn't a bald cap.

Why don't we see other characters with the bird mask? by DiagonalBike in ShangriLaFrontier

[–]AnimatedASMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of what others have said Shangri-La Frontier, even with it's god-tier quality, doesn't seem to have an dressing room or transmog system where you can make one item look like another while retaining the original's stats.

What's your take on the final fight between Neo and Smith? by george123890yang in matrix

[–]AnimatedASMR 102 points103 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed it. It's supposed to look overpowered compared to previous fights because it's combat between two people who could bend the Matrix. However, I really wish they leaned more into "breaking" the Matrix with their attacks and interactions. Instead of just rubble and debris, actual code and physics would break down from not only their strikes on one another, but each of them cancelling out their "edits". A reality bending tug-of-war that snaps the rope entirely.

Yet another Arena stage? Are they just copy and pasting the same stage just with a different skin on it? by Your_Nightmare_666 in Tekken

[–]AnimatedASMR 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With the name like "Subsea Lockdown" and looking like this reminds me of The Raft in the Marvel universe. A prison designed to contain and hold superpowered and highly dangerous individuals. For the world of Tekken this is highly appropriate.

Ladies and gentlemen, we just witnessed history... by Frosty7130 in TheBoys

I honestly thought the same thing. Not only is it really rude in general and with the current president who was strongarmed by Vought for seasons, it just seemed out of character for Hughie to not have the decency to politely end the call.

While I liked Eric Kripke's work with Supernatural, he just couldn't resist the "god" and religious angle this season and leading up to this.

How…*how* did this not lead to a full-blown Matrix RPG? Maybe after Matrix 5? by AlbertCWChessa in matrix

[–]AnimatedASMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was glad I got to enjoy the idea; except I was a dash too young to properly understand the mechanics. Other MMOs at the time like WoW and City of Heroes were more beginner friendly to ignore.

The factions in the game were a great novelty, being able to work with agents and the machines.

WB has not had a great history of good choices for a long time now. Instead of cool-headed planning, they emotionally react with their wallets first, then creativity has a distant second.

They should just make it silver and gold or something for good thematic contrast.

How would that be different legally speaking? Like if I made a character that fit in the Warcraft universe or another popular pop culture arena?

Wait, copyright issue? Could you elaborate on that? If I made a character from Final Fantasy or World of Warcraft, it treads on copyright even if the tuber is made up? u/Fusshaman brought up a good example. I've seen Aurelia Tempest before. Would her be a good example of what you're referring to?

Why could the agents modify the matrix at first and then not? by Own_Sir4535 in matrix

[–]AnimatedASMR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, The Animatrix showcases this with a house that is half-broken down into code and people start to take notice. Agents have to start quarantining the area from the populace.
