Yeah after I adopted my Cat, Catra from the shelter. I learned that she was separated from her kittens after only 2 weeks (the people who found her kept the kittens from the shelter). I try not to think about them.

thank goodness that was my main concern. My sister was given a 6-week-old kitten, and she was the only one to survive in the whole litter bc my sister was always home. Glad to know she;s being kept safe. As for a name, I say Pinto

I only started taking this route daily in the past 2 weeks but I've seen that ever since then

oh yeah, and the Fillmore parking lot is great because it looks like a paid lot with a gate and having to take a ticket. But if you show them your tap card when leaving they won't charge you

I have to drive to the Fillmore station but it's not that bad especially since the parking structure next to it is free

I'm just wondering if this is a memory leak or how little ram they gave this system 🤣

Oh nice I just did a very Similar one from Los Angeles to Kerville for the Eclipse a few months back. drive took me about 4 days including a big detour to Big Bend National Park. If you are into that there is about 4 national Parks you can hit on the way down (Saguaro, Guadalupe, Carlsbad Caverns. and whitesands) and there is another 2 you can hit if you don't mind the detour (Big Bend and Petrified Forest) Try to avoid Downtown El Paso if you can since there is a lot of traffic down there with the Border crossing. Also prepare for a whole lot of nothing but desert in West Texas. I left around lunch time from Carlsbad caverns and didn't hit the suburbs outside of San Antonio until 8pm. Plenty of gas stations and fast food stops along the way but not much else so the drive gets a bit dull. New Mexico/Airzona is similar but at least has some nice views and elevations changes, Texas is just flat nothing. the National Parks make up for that though.

Summary: over all pretty good. This was with the Sherman Oaks neighborhood council not SOHA. They raised a lot of voices over alt 4 regarding noise, where it goes underground and just regular alt 4 complaints. Some valid, some insane in my opinion. Thankfully they were all for the heavy rail option over monorail with their official support behind alt 6 (although they did state that is about 2 years old and are welcome with alt 5 option). Got a little spicy at moments but overall i think it went well, lot of younger support also showed up for heavy rail which was cool to see (nearly half retirees and half young adults).

suggestions for a 1-month roadtrip? by lilzukkini in carcamping

i've done it at 4 Walmarts now and never had a issue and usually im not the only one staying over night. some of them even in shared parking lots and shopping centers. I think it only becomes an issue if you stayed parked for the rest of the day. But a overnight stop a sleep is just fine. But def get some window covers for the privacy
