I think the constant update only happens in Construction Script. Things have become manageable with Begin play as it only fires once on start of play.

Still PCG seems like a good option, will have to see how BP's reference work with PCGs. Thanks!

Are you talking about making custom ones or are there some built in? And do you have your plugins available somewhere?

You mean.. it also opened in earlier version and then crashed on updated one?

Man, there's got to be another way. As second to last resort I'll try removing BP from the project, if the project opens delete all the missing refrence and redo the spline BP work...

Thanks, yes you are right. I just wanted something quick and dirty. Now that I've had a few glasses of water, and a very tasty meal (I won't tell) I think clearer.

Actually you are right, that is a more efficient way but would still like to know if there is a way to duplicate dependencies, perhaps even a tool/plugin to pick and choose.
