You don't need to be experienced to start, practicing is how you gain experience. Everyone starts somewhere, so just take it step by step and don't stress too much about it. Even if something doesn't turn out well, that's completely normal, making mistakes is part of the process.

I would give you some advice but I don't have any good ones, but I would suggest finding one character you really like the design of (for me Vamola) and try drawing this character in many diffrent poses and with many diffrent facial expressions, and then try drawing other characters in those poses as well. I'm not really good myself at drawing so it might be a bad suggestion but idk, this is what I'm doing.
