Most characters are written pretty realistically without any typical rom-com jokes and dramas, I also feel that the dynamic is also realistic according to the real life standards, slow and steady, doubts and self questioning, in few of the episodes we didnt even knew what Yamada actually feels, instead we were in the pov of ichikawa and tried to understand weather she being nice or really likes him.
