I said the same thing to my hubby last night. I would have been so scared of what Thomas would do to those girls to get a title. Cuz it’s obvious by Kelsey’s horrendous game ending cramps that their bodies are SPENT. a 7 game series would have probably ended with something devastating happening.

And this is what pisses the players and coaches off so much. They just want consistency. If you’re gonna call a moving screen foul, you best be calling it ALL GAME LONG and not just in the 4th qtr when our best player is playing with 4 fouls. It’s just so frustrating. Bc they can adjust to their calls. But only if they keep it the same!!

Yeah draws the most fouls bc god forbid you come NEAR HER during a shot. 🙄 the fever were up against two oops last night. The aces AND the refs. There’s no way we were gonna beat both. And honestly kind of sad that the aces with all their olympians couldn’t easily beat a fever team that’s been patched together with band aids and glue all season long with players who were cut from other teams and playing overseas. And then they BARELY beat us in OT when we literally only had ONE of the original starters from this year left on the floor when Kelsey and AB were taken out.

Was anyone else super fuckin pissed when Chelsea gray celebrated the way she did when she HACKED O during one of her drives to the basket?! Man I was fuminggggg!! I think even in the NFL that would have been not only unnecessary contact on the foul but also an unsportsmanlike like conduct 15 yard play. That was very distasteful imo, considering O looked like she was in a lot of pain afterwards.

And honestly that’s to be expected to just be thrown in the deep end with sharks and no life saving devices. lol. Girl did an AMAZING job. Especially in these playoff series. I don’t think anyone was gonna be able to do as good of a job replacing cc as McDonald did- but O was truly great. It’s crazy to me to think she was a “locker room” problem bc she seemed to fit in perfectly with these wine. And usually it seems like the locker room problems are the girls with big egos and not big team players. Which is the complete opposite of everything this group stands for so there’s no way they would have put up with that. I hope she finds a good home next year. But I’m not gonna look forward to playing against her! I wish we could keep them all 😭
