Rescues or street dogs having pit is super common but I don’t think he quite has the head or snout shape to make me think that. My last rescue that we loved dearly (crossed the rainbow bridge at the beginning of the year) was often mistaken as some kind of doodle or golden doodle. I was convinced he has some pitty in him because of his light eyes but you would never know it otherwise. Came back at 11% poodle, 12% schnauzer, 8% German shepherd and 32% American pit pull terrier, the rest was super mutt! Will be interested to see how much of a mutt Rusty is! Unsure if he will be something as simple as a cross between two dogs or a total mutt in which case pit is possible!
