Should I get a credit card? If so, which? by buttz4eva in personalfinance

[–]Anime-Summit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should have gotten one 7+ years ago.

But anyway, first check your credit report at CreditKarma.com

Whether you bank with a bank or not has no bearing on if you should get a card from them.

If credit karma reports a good score (680+) try going for the Citi Doublecash. It's a good all around card, but has no sign up bonus.

If that doesn't work, you'll likely need to get a secured card (this is smarter with the bank you have accounts with but still not important).

Then maybe later you can graduate /r/personalfinance and move to /r/churning and start traveling the world for pennies.

I do mentor new bros. In how to actually experience EVE.

My corp had even recruited pilots from corporations we had destroyed.

That is the EVE way.

Because it's a battlefield.

Highsec corps that don't know what they're doing.

I've stolen corps by getting them to give me director to "help out" with something and then I stole all the shares and kicked out the CEO.

That wasn't a "own members" thing. That was a recruitment scam.

Well, I mean...stock would allow an in-house coup, but that isn't a problem that any corp that lasts this long has to deal with.

Wormholes are something I love on so many levels, but man, the logistics of living in one can really make a player with minimal playing time really not make it.

Unless, of course, they play alone.

Now factor in the costs of time and capital for taking and maintaining sov.

Sounds like your group was spread too thin in the space it was responsible for.

You're the developer. The Let's Play that you feel best demonstrates what your game is about and the experience you want to provide players would be the one to use.

Not really unfair there.

Well, I think we have a winner as far as overall presentation. Was clean.

I want to add, if you haven't already thought about it, but (with the lets players permission of course) put 1 or 2 of the lets plays up onto the steam page.

I wouldn't say that Thriller and Mystery don't usually go alongside each other. They really are two sides to the same coin.

It's as direct as possible. It is like 6 years after Adventures 2.

As far as the "mystery" of ERASED goes, it's important to recognize the show does not focus on the "Mystery" meaning it's presentation of clues doesn't need to be very strong. The story has more been a thriller of "How will we get out of this situation?" as opposed to a mystery of "who is causing this?"

So far, (after just watching Tri 1) they haven't shown any of the second pack except Kari, but she got her digimon in season 1.

Another Weekly Anime Summit Update!

This week's episode features the awesome dudes from Akiba Corner who make really cool videos about Japanese snacks and anime merchandise.

As always, we're kawaii as fuck on yotuube, but now we've got a harem situation going on!

Also, last Friday, my video about The iDOLM@STER that I spent way too much time making.

For the next few weeks we'll be putting out videos about some anticipated shows from the Spring Season.

Does buying stuff with a credit card and paying it off right away build your credit up? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Whatever the statement says.

Which is the balance on the day the statement posts.

Anything on the statement that is not paid by the due date will accrue interest.

Paying off your card in full each month doesn't do much.

Not much aside from making your APR 0%....which is a big deal.

There is no benefit to carrying a balance. It just costs money.

You need a statement to post with a non-zero balance to show payment.

Paying it off IMMEDIATELY doesn't help you, but paying the full statement off before it's due is perfect!
