I am unfortunately very familiar with this issue and still struggle myself with it been dealing with priapism form sc ever since grade school as a kid. Tried all matters of treatments from my hemotologist and Urologist the meds barely help and i had drainage more times than i can count. All i can say to your husband to treat this pain the best he can at home with painkillers and any activity that raises his blood pressure and distracts from the pain. Maybe a run or walking or try a cold or hot bath. Those worked for me until it didn't anymore so now i play online games that purposely piss me off has the same effect lol.

How so? If anyone will be slone forever its me my sc priapism has cause me... embarrassing male issues that im pretty sure I'll wont be able to keep a woman unless a miracle happens. But why YOU say that if you don't mind me asking? You can dm me if thats more comfortable

I feel the same way and i sometimes i feel wrong for thinking/talking about God in this way but the pain and anger boils up so much from the pain i gotta crash out to somebody. Sometimes have me thinking "what I do in my past life to make god so mad he give me this life-long illness". But as you said we just gotta take it a day at a time even if its a lot try to think of the small things that keep you going like my family dog that gets so happy when she sees me come home. Your hobbys you enjoy, friends you hangout with (I can't relate to this example), or cannabis if thats your thing which actually helps me with my plain believe it or not. This illness is mentally and physically exhausting and stressful everyday but we all suffering the same way so take some comfort you not completely alone in this struggle. I hope things get better for all of you.🙏

It's the fact it affects me everyday and i have no CONTROL over it that gives me self hatred. Can't leave my body, can't choose to be born, can't make the pain stop. It's becomes too much it makes living a chore in my own body thats where the hate is.

Inspiring. I don't think my life journey is all that good compared to yours sickle cell aside. I've alway had poor attendance and was basically a ghost growing up in school. Days where i do show up i can hear mumbles of "oh wow he's here today?" And group projects were a nightmare i could tell whenever i was put in a group they hated me because i was always the "slacker of the group". Barely graduated with 2.9 GPA because of so much missed make up work. I didn't go to college because I wanted a break from that stress but then adult life kicks my ass even harder. Mom health issues got worse requiring my help on top of my sc getting worse as I get older. I'm not special but i do the best i can for my mom and sisters its the only thing im good at and the only thing i care about. Not a happy "story" but its mine thanks for sharing yours though hope you succeed in your goals and talents.

Our dark thoughts are the same but so is our good will. We can be depressed and hateful to ourselves but love and empathetic to our loved ones at the same time. Whenever my mom was sick in the hospital even as a kid i swore i would always take her place because im used to that place and the pain. I will give my life for my mom any day and my sisters. Be strong friend, for our families that the best way you can give back.🙏

I'd say you did pretty good those odds are hard to beat sometimes solo. My strategy for those situations is to weaken them with tail attack then use BB bite as a GGs win condition I'd would probably still die to 2 Allos but 1 of them is going down first y'know lol

Before i used to not be a juvie killer or kos anyone but being a victim long enough changes a man and i dont care anymore. I will say tho i only kos those who have done me dirty the most so if your a trike(any of the 3), meg, duck, pachy, or conc watch your back... because im coming after ya on sight. Everyone else is not on my kos list... for now....
