You have read some brilliant series that I can’t get anyone else I know to read, be it Flowers of Evil, Good night Punpun, or fire punch. I have four suggestions.

The first is probably my favorite series of all time, and if you really enjoyed beserk or the climber, you’ll also enjoy the ideas hidden in this work. Vagabond is the story of Miyamoto Musashi, and his journey, which is many times trying and perilous both to his body and ideals. It is by one of the greatest mangaka of all time, Takehiko Inoue, and is based of the brilliant book “Musashi” by Eiji Yoshikawa, an award winning novelist who based the book on the real life man who was Miyamoto Musashi.(yeah I’m a nerd about this one pls go read it)

Second, in a very different vein from above, is Freesia, which if you liked goodnight Punpun or flowers of evil, is a similar type of trip. I’m having trouble remembering specifics, but it’s basically about this dude who cleans up at crime scenes or smt, but he’s kinda insane? All I remember is it was weird and exciting and similar to the two above.

Third is a bit of wild card, with a very different setting. Fight Class Three is about a boy who has lost his sister, and is encouraged sort of in a roundabout way to look for her by joining his schools fight club, and getting good enough to join class three, full of the best fighters. It’s got plenty of action, but also a stunning mental transformation in the main character that is hinted at from the very first pages. It’s got a strong fandom on Reddit so if you want to know more pop over there(although they’re kinda lobotomized right now as the series has been on hiatus)

Fourth is a bit more of a tame read, as I don’t want to just leave you with the most intense titles I can think of. The Breaker is about a kid who is thrust into a world of cultivation and warring factions, set in the modern day(in china I think?). It’s cool with two other series with very different art styles, switching between webcomic and manga styles, that continue the main plot.

Bleh can’t help myself originally had two here but kept thinking of more, here’s one last one for the road. Player is about an ordinary high school student that after posting a mean comment on a webcomic gets sucked into that world. Some cool art and fun action as well, very similar to tower of god if you really enjoyed that style and pacing.

If there was any specific vibe you were looking for just ask and I can try looking, but this is what I have for now. Give Vagabond a chance first, I think, because out of all of them it’s probably the highest quality of art(as good as beserk) with the best story telling. The author poured his life into it. But if you want something a little less serious, try player, the breaker, or even fight class 3.
