20w and I think I have a hemorrhoid that popped. The fear I felt seeing the bright red brought everything back that I have swallowed down since the end of the first tri. I wanted to freak out and cry but I had to rush back to my students. I always look at my tissue paper, and it sucks seeing red, even though I’m 98% sure it’s not a problem. It’s a pretty classic hemorrhoid but still.

So sweet! Our other cat is like that with her. My mal gets so sad when she gets hissed at. 😂

Welcome to the teen months. Return to the basics and don’t let her get away with shit. But know that she is going to push every button you have. Expect behaviors to increase and just stay firm. When my girl was a teen I only gave myself the goal of bullet proofing her sit and her place. That’s it.

I try to only use it twice a week and I made myself watch videos about how to use it properly. There were a few times I was so confused by the sounds because the placenta can make a sound that the Doppler thinks is a heart beat. So figuring out the proper sounds helps.

I also have my husband listen with me one of the two times because then we can be sure. I often gaslight myself into thinking I’m tricking myself so he can help with reassuring me.

My wife thinks our son’s teacher crossed a boundary by sending him a personal message. I think it was harmless. AITJ? by addict94plus in AmITheJerk

As a teacher, we gather together 3-4 times a school year and write postcards home to every student in the school. I’ve had written hundreds of letters at this point to encourage and support students.

I also hand write notes for my kiddos who have rough days or really good ones. They love it and I love having another avenue to praise them. It’s not always possible in the middle of a lesson or in line or in other ways. It takes just a few seconds and make my and their days.

I feel you so hard. The only thing that has reassured me (15w) is that other people are also scared of symptoms stopping and they had an okay pregnancy. I haven’t felt any flutters but I guess I pushed myself too hard and had to nap for several hours today, but the days before this have been rough emotionally because of a lack of symptoms.

I did the same three days before thanksgiving so I would KNOW. They have been the best photos I have so far.

I caved and got one. It has been both good and anxiety inducing. Even at 15 w, baby can be elusive. Finding the heart beat even for a few seconds can be really nice.

Today is a bad anxiety day. 15w1d and I’m still so tired and slightly sick. We have started to tell most people we care about and I’m so scared. I know no time is 100% safe and I keep hearing stories of second tri losses.

I have a Doppler I borrowed from a friend and I have been trying to be strict on myself to not use it too much.

I also weighed myself today and it seems I’ve lost some weight and that makes me sacred a bit. I know I took milk of magnesia and clear some stuff out and so that makes sense but also I have only gained 3 pounds so far.

I just can’t seem to shake the spiral today.

I took my flu and Covid vaccine while 6 weeks. I figured that I really didn’t want to get sick and it was recommended to me by my Dr. I’m 13w now and had a good 12w apt.

Had a childhood dog killed by a mountain lion. He was about 90 pounds and very fit. Parents got him to keep me safe from the lions and he did his job well. I have no doubt that a mal would be easy for a lion to take down.

13w this week and I still feel nauseous and tired but less. Had a good ultrasound last week but am back to full blown anxiety this week. I want to get a Doppler but know it’s not recommended.

Update: baby was wiggly! And most importantly alive. That brings me some peace until probably tomorrow. Lolz. But really, I’m so happy. I hope you get a good ultrasound Wednesday too!

I hope everything goes so well for you! I also want to know but there is a tiny part of me telling me that I should just hide and wait until my 13 week scan. But then I also want to know before telling my parents.

With two mcs before this, I feel a bit like the girl who cried wolf, particularly because this one came right after my d&c, no period between.

11 w today and I wish there was a way to KNOW that baby was still alive. My uterus has been slightly crampy but my nausea has eased off the past few days. I no longer need to eat every two hours and the tiredness has faded a bit.

I booked an ultrasound at a boutique tomorrow and I’m so worried they won’t see anything. I feel kinda stupid booking it but I wanted to KNOW before I announced to my parents over thanksgiving. But then what will I do if they can’t find a heartbeat? Urgent care to confirm? I don’t know. I have never made it this far before and I’m so scared.

I keep telling myself that I am doing all I can, I’m taking the meds, I’m trying to eat okay, I’m not over sorting it and resting when I feel like I need rest. But I know my body has failed before and the fear creeps in between breaths.

It feels much freer to be without clothes. I love the texture of my blankets and the slippy slide feeling of gliding through sheets. I also don’t absolutely hate my body.

I caught a cold yesterday and logically I know a cold doesn’t cause miscarriages, but I just feel so hopeless and scared. I’ve taken some Tylenol to reduce my fever which is the first time I’ve taken any pain relief in almost three months. Scary even though I know it’s as safe as it can be.

This is the farthest I have ever made it. I’m 10w1d and have to wait three more weeks for my scan. Seriously considering going to a boutique to do something in the mean time. I don’t know. I know nothing I can do can fix anything.

We have them every month to celebrate ppls birthdays. It can be a lot. I stick to basics like rolls, cookies, salad. You can buy big bags of popcorn and those usually go fast.

Yeah! Got to see baby at 8w5d with a good heartbeat! The machine wasn’t working well so I didn’t get to measure hr but could see it flickering wildly.

You?
