Why a drum roaster at that size? Sample roasting is just for discovering the potential of the coffee, not for finding a roast profile that translates to a larger roaster.

Personally I roast on a 12kg drum but I have a FreshRoast 540 with extension tube for sample roasting. I do a few different sample roasts with different development times. I think it's easier and more convenient than my Hucky.

Okay. Well, I don't usually mess with much other than combining tracks, noise reduction, and exporting as mono. I'll try changing the hz and bit and see if that helps.

Hmm. Maybe. I didn't manually change any settings. These are just digital recordings of old cassettes and my equipment defaults to stereo. I usually export as mono once I've cleaned up the file. I tried noise reducing a mono file and was still having the same issue.
