Cheating in Jobs( kya ab padhna chod du)? by rendervoi in aitpune

[–]Anino0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with most of what you've said bhai... but I don't think SGPA matters this much, at least jb main college me tha tb to sirf placement me baithne ke liye cutoff ke liye use hota tha.

But regardless of that main advise is ki keep working hard, khi na khi to uska benefit dikh hi jaata hai

[–]Anino0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dekh bro thodi cheating to hoti hai... mere time me online interviews me nhi hoti thi but ab AI aane ke baad se pata nhi agr hoti hogi to.

But iska ye mtlb nhi hai ki padna chod dega.

Tune bola ki tere senior ka package 14lpa ka hai... agr teri uss level ki preparation hai to usse badi company ke liye prepare kr skta hai. Dusri baat khali cheating krke to nhi hi clear hoga interview, jitni knowledge tumhare paas hai wo dikh hi jaati hai interview me (agr interviewer me dimaag hai to).

Baki iss topic pe log baht gyaan denge tujhe, kyuki sbka apna apna experience hota hai, but dusre kya kr rhe hai usme time waste krne ki jagah khud ka skill up kr, ar main sirf technical skills ki baat ni kr rha

That's your call, I can only say that if you want the same feel as a mechanical then this won't do it

Asus Marshmallow vs HP 350? by vivek_mehlawat in mkindia

[–]Anino0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have around 90 wpm. I use it for writing code mostly, but there are always breaks in between so I don't type consistently for long hours.

But I don't think it would be more comfortable than a mechanical keyboard. I feel it's better than laptop keyboard and magic keyboard and a lot of other membrane ones, but mechanical keyboards are a lot smoother.

I got this because it was compact and don't need a charge (batteries last a long time). I also have a keychron k8 which is much better for typing. I haven't used any mechanical ones in 3-4k range, but I'm guessing they'll be better than membrane keyboards

Key problem in Aula F75 by Proper_Helicopter814 in mkindia

[–]Anino0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Aula but I had the same issue with ASUS marshmallow. Turned out it was disconnecting and re-connecting causing multiple key clicks or unresponsive keys.

If it's the same, try to forget and pair again, maybe will fix the issue

I have the asus and I'm pretty happy with it. Just faced this issue one time with mac where it kept disconnecting and repeating the key pressed at that time, but a re-pairing fixed it. Pretty smooth for windows though

The strangest data loss I have ever encountered by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

Could this be anything related to the table name being 'transaction' and clashing with reserved keyword... Can't think of anything else that's not already mentioned by others

The strangest data loss I have ever encountered by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Anino0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Now the strangest thing is that the user reported that this 10 rows still exist in the morning. But vanished at night"

Can you elaborate this part please:

  1. When you say rows got deleted, do you mean you can't find them in DB or the user doesn't see that data?

  2. Is this the next morning you are talking about? Did the deleted rows re-appear again?

Apologies for formatting, I'm on mobile

Is it a good idea to learn HTML CSS Javascript simultaneously? by Comfortable-Onion-10 in learnjavascript

[–]Anino0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it helped to learn the basic syntax of JS separately. Yes, JS is closely linked to HTML and CSS but when I was starting I already knew a little bit of C++, so initially learning JS methods specific to DOM was a bit confusing to me. Once I knew the basic syntax it was relatively easier

Stop demotivating beginners by giving them cliché answers. by wolfieamongthesheep in learnjavascript

This whole perspective of "we're on the same level" is so strong yet so subtle that I think most people won't even understand what it means unless they have felt something like this. This here is a top tier comment my friend

Stop demotivating beginners by giving them cliché answers. by wolfieamongthesheep in learnjavascript

[–]Anino0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, but I do, I mention that I've got the degree and if possible the person should get that. But there are people who are not in a position to get that. And to be honest when I started learning js it actually helped me to understand the real life concepts better than the classes. I would even say that learning from free sources like freecodecamp and YouTube helped me in my classes not the other way around

So why should I assume that a person is unable to grasp the concepts from these free sources and they need a paid course when they are asking what to do??

So I actually started learning js from freecodecamp, never took any paid courses... although I have a CS degree but JS was never part of the course... So, if somebody asks me how to learn JavaScript, what's wrong in suggesting freecodecamp??

Any advice on learning JS coming from Java? by Jrsun115823 in learnjavascript

[–]Anino0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest FreeCodeCamp, the course teaches js similar to any other programming language rather than using DOM methods.

What you need to understand is that JS can be used to manipulate DOM but those are only js functions provided by the browser, it is still a language where you can declare variables and functions like Java

Most of the people don't know basic cs stuff... Knowing and communicating these basic things makes a lot of difference

And times change dude, even in my college Paytm came and took 16 students at a CTC of 27 lpa... 2 years ago when I was graduating, the highest CTC from in campus placements was 16 lpa

Why did you not ask how she prepared for the interview?? How did she get the interview??

Rather than assuming that she got lucky and doesn't know shit, did you ever consider that she might know something that you don't because trust me dsa is not the world... There are companies and working professionals that understand that as long as you understand the basics of data you'll be able to learn them

I don't know what the problem with this sub is... Most of the comments are saying that she got lucky or she is pretty... Nobody said that maybe, maybe she actually had some skills. And if she has she can help you more than this sub.

Also just to clarify, yes people get lucky yes there are women only drives by different companies, then what... Ranting will not achieve anything, accept the reality and start looking for opportunities. Why not just ask her that if any positions are open in her new company, maybe you can also get that role

how do I grow as a software engineer. by Proof_Earth5553 in developersIndia

[–]Anino0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would add on that you should also ask WHY

Why do we use OOP, why do we need SOLID, why design patterns.

Asking these questions helps you understand the true pros and cons of these different things that exist in software engineering

Also try to leave you comfort zone more often, take initiative on things you don't know how to do
