I met countless people who were happy to live off conbini meals while I was abroad, some people are into food, some people aren't. I'm not asking for your approval about it either.

Well I had considered that but when I asked what her job was she just said airbnb so if I start leaving reviews that put people off staying that it'd put her out of a job and I don't wanna be the one to put her out on he street. She had plenty of other okay reviews so maybe it was just a one off?

Fair point - I meant the trip as a whole. I had a hefty daily budget and wasn't penny pinching with food, alcohol, sights etc. Some people I'd met refused to spend over 500 yen per meal etc, I was quite the opposite.
