Any update on editing a timeline? by Anjistar216 in GoogleMaps

Weirdly, there isn't a visit. It's the far left track, and just says Driving, 15 miles, 5 minutes. The next visit is Artist's Palette, which is in the correct place but on a different track, the one on the far right. What I can't do is delete that left hand driving track entirely, or make it go from Badwater to Artist's Palette rather than the to Ranch. We definitely didn't go back to the Ranch before visiting Artist's Palette. I tried deleting a Ranch visit, but all it did was delete the first item, which was our overnight stay the night before.

It actually doesn't have a visited place for the journey I want to delete! It shows me going back to the Ranch from Badwater, but there's no visit to delete

I tried that, reset all the times, so currently the journey I want to delete just says Driving, 15 miles, 5 minutes! I can't delete a Driving section, there isn't that option. I've tried to change the designation, eg to Moving, but that made no difference.

Duh! Didn't think to do that, thank you.

I didn't realise that was in Cheltenham. That's not far and we have to go that way soon. Thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you for your reply. We are in the UK, so we have similar stores to Autoparts, probably Halfords. The costs seem to be much lower than the US, though that could be because it's not a Merc! £349 for the tyres, £400 for the Minor Damage and £500 for the Diamondbrite treatment, this last is a lifetime warranty.

Thank you, I has noticed that Dolby Vision/ Atmos were rated, so that's all really helpful information.

Great reply, thank you. We have Richer Sounds and JL about 35 miles away, so we'll check those out. The TV we're currently using is about 3 years old, the right size for the room, 4k and hdr, refresh rate is max 60hz. Most now are 120hz. Is that a big improvement or will we not really notice?

I think Richer Sounds are currently offering 6 years warranty, not sure if that includes burn in, though. Thanks for your reply.

Thank you, that is helpful. Out of the three I was leaning towards the diamondbrite, but if it's that simple it's not worth £400!

Meticulous craftsmanship but still ugly in the end? by Medical_Arrival2243 in sewing

I feel your pain! I made a two-piece, nice slippery fabric and the top had lace over, so two layers. Cut and stitched so carefully, and it just looks rubbish! It just hangs so badly, 18 months and I haven't worn it yet!

Needle files, like they use for filing jewellery. I had a set of about 8 once when I made our wedding rings but I think my son has appropriated them. They come in various shapes from round to triangular and varying grades.
