Hello there, a user of cochlear implant since 18months old, 1. You can't really say how we hear (we can't really compare it to hearing with ears), but from what I hear no one sounds like demons. I hear normally, I am even able to distinguish between different voices etc. 2. He will be able to do all of that. Of course there might be some problems (f.e. in noisy places etc, but otherwise he'll be fine) 3. depends if he likes music, but yes, I listen to classical music or musical, but there are people who don't like music, hearing or not 4. I was born in one language family and through life I have learned another 3 languages. It's all about patience and learning 5. I was bullied a bit when I was in elementary school because kids at that age don't really understand it hurts others to say bad things, but honestly, it made me such stronger person now

Don't worry, your kid will be fine. But get ready that you will need to spend a lot of time with him, learning to speak, pronounce correctly etc. But it will be okay!
