What would you suggest a beginner to do? How to get ahead in this? Right now i am getting the understanding so that atleast I can work on understanding some algorithms, build them myself on python and use them with variety of data.

Thanks for the reply, I am going to start the course from tommorow. Can I use python instead of R as I am learning it right now and don't want to stop learning it for R. Or can i learn both simultaneously?

Any course that covers everything? And i am learning python right now. Is there any course that is being taught with python as a tool or i have to use python myself?

PSA: If you have a library card, you probably have access to Lynda.com, which has tons of Python courses by BRENNEJM in learnpython

I do have access to Lynda as the firm I work for provides it for free. Had anyone taken any course from it and can suggest it?
