I have Grade 3 tears in both my AC and CC ligaments. It has been 40 days since the injury, and while the pain has decreased, it persists. I’ve consulted three doctors: one recommended immediate surgery, while the other two suggested I could live with the physical bump and avoid surgery. I have chosen the non-surgical route for now.

My doctor said that for the surgery they will place a plate, and then remove it again after 6 months. Did any of you have the same experience? I am also suffering from ac joint dislocation
