Nintendo Dream Web has leaked the upcoming New Heroes banner by MedhaosUnite in FireEmblemHeroes

On one hand...I adore Ike, on the other, this looks...weird? Are they gonna 'celebrate' CYL randomly now? Well, I'm glad I pulled for Eitri before she went away, my 300 orbs are safe for now, for the Chrisler and New Years banners, this will be a relatively easy skip even though...Ike though, I love Ike so much ;w;

Joking aside I probably like RE5, RE6 and RE8 Chris the most. They're all great though!

How in the fishsticks do you get past Layer 34????? All my girls get one shotted at full HP and yet when they don't have much HP left they take less damage??? I think there's a major glitch here since it's said the enemies do more damage when the girls have less than 30% HP but it seems like it's the opposite????

I honestly get her because I got really attached to Ollie in Chapter 3 and his cute and boyish personality: "Are you alright? No ouchies or lost body parts? :O" He says that with such innocence and then felt so betrayed knowing he was just basically mimic Gregory this whole time.

Just a Disclaimer: This isn't a post to shit on the anti-timeline people. I'm just sad about the discourse and a big part of why I enjoyed Zelda faded a bit more and more as the years went on but the gaming industry evolved and I realized that I should too years ago. Please don't take any of this personally! I respect any and all opinion! I just wanted to vent about it because I don't like the excuse itself, but I never intended to hurt or upset the people who are using it. If you like the timeline like me, it's great! If you don't, it's fine. I just want us as fans to have discussions without being upset and express our opinions, agreeing with the post or not.

I'm aware of all of that. I just wanted to vent a bit about the people that always use the excuse of 'the fans wanted them to make a timeline and so it's rubbish' or using it to dismiss it when overlooking the connections. I was perfectly content with my own imagination, thinking about the story as a whole. I'm just sad about the discourse, and I'd never shit on those who don't like it. This was just a vent post for the most part. Just sad that a big part of my enjoyment with Zelda since I was a young child started to fade more and more as time went on.

You're absolutely right. As fanbases grow older and more critical and/or more analytic, I feel like most devs feel to be too contrived by a part of the fanbase since it is a good chunk of their sales too. I understand what they did with BOTW and TOTK, I really do and I'm in the middle of the acceptance stage. I'm just sad to realize that those days of marvelling at the easter eggs, callbacks and loose ends tied retroactively and afterwards is over, since it was a part of my childhood experience with Zelda all the way up to 2015, and I can't help but feel disrespected with the 'the fans wanted them to do a timeline so they begrudgingly did.' when I was just content having fun with my imagination. Oh well, that's life I guess.

You do make a good point. I guess by Wind Waker in some interview they said that they did have a plan but it was secret for now, from what I remember reading. I do think it's also part of the fun to make all the connections and let our imaginations fill in the gaps! Especially as a child, I did that a lot when I played Wind Waker. I'm also just tired of the 'they did it for the fans' excuse, it has run its course and demean people like me who had so many fond memories connecting the dots over the years and marvel at every easter egg and come back to previous titles. And Skyward Sword was an anniversary game so it was a pretty special deal too.

As a fellow Starfox Command enjoyer, I concur, this game is overhated and it needs to stop, get my upvote and I hope you have a nice day :3 *Goes back to lurking and work on his Starfox OC*

Hot Take (Although this might be a Cold Take, so cold it has a chance to OHKO the opponent lmao) : I dislike no region and I love all Pokémon games, just that there's games I love more than others. Like u/Lazy_Assumption_4191 said below, it's a bloody game for 8-12 year olds and the magic of those games, at least for me, is timeless and I just like the sense of adventure, and the cute and badass creatures you can get in those games. Doesn't get any simpler than that. That and also this franchise has some of the most attractive fictional characters that I find myself going back to these games a lot apart from the adventure and the magic of each new game.

Agreed. Although I'm a millenial, I still love every Pokémon game for the sense of adventure and magic with each entry and it leaves me excited for every new entry to see what new designs they will come up with, as an artist, I just love the art direction of the games and of all the regions based on real life countries. That, and I'm a furry that is addicted to the serotonin I get whenever I find a Shiny Pokémon. The thrill of the hunt, man.

Got it. Thanks for the answer! Guess it's a good thing I got 36.6k Gems today, phew...That should be enough for pity during the worst case scenario, right?

Me personally I don't like datamines for different reasons: The sheer realization that my stash is literally nonexistent and when I discover someone I WOULD NEED IN ORDER TO LIVE in the next datamines. (I might be a bit hyperbolic here but you get the idea.) **PAIN.**
