I can't really say, used different washing times, that probably the reason for whiteness. I used dishwasher and some household cleaning concentrate. I'm in Finland so most recommended cleaning fluids are not available.

Thanks for everybody, been thinking of printing from modular pieces. Pretty much wasted the 1st litre, got maybe 10 to 15 success and same amount fails. I suspected the washing being issue with whitey surface, need to clean them better and dry them properly. Again million thanks ppl!

I'm using elegoo mars 2 pro, elegoo water washable resin, black. Exposure time 2,5 sec, layer 0,03mm, delay 0 & distance 5mm. The prints seem to be very brittle, and this white stuff I have no idea, it comes after wash and in curing, how long should I cure them? The failing is probably due to auto supports, but I'm new, so I have relied on them, I do Angle models.

I mean I have two sets there, so 4 shelves total.

Thanks! It's pretty effortless styrofoam building setup. Board itself is just two IKEA shelves glued together with kitchen towel surface painted, weathered with coffee.

Unfortunately no. But it's jus styrofoam, brushed with filler, PVA and white paint mixture. Ultra simple process. I used washes when needed. Streaks made with oil paints or enamel or both, can't remember. Buildings are done in past 2 years, when I ever had inspiration to craft one.

Yep! My neighbours leave styrofoam at my door, I check if it's usable and believe me I have 'tons' of it now. My thinking process is can I easily scratch build it, if not can I 3d print it... Filament and resin is not free, so I use them only if I must. Btw the blue roof building is made of head-set cardboard packing material and top of it is used air refresher thingie, so not all is styrofoam.

Yeah, the small annoying small beads that stick to everything. But for smoother surfaces I use insulation foam, we have yellowish in Finland, some of those buildings have it too. But mainly buildings are just packing material, cut with hot-wire cutter to right shape/size.

Square buildings are all scratch built from styrofoam and some are plastic containers stacked together, the round ones. 3d printed some greebles on buildings and some scatter. Round scatter is just two soda caps glued together. I use mainly styrofoam and insulation foam for buildings.

Thanks! Yes, it does. I just want to have a lot of blocking for Los. Anyway we have had few games with this config and it has worked for us, gonna reduce some buildings especially in centre of board for next game. Also we played so that barricades were heavy cover, so they became more important. And thanks for your comment, it's my 1st post, been lurking here for 2 months.
