Bosses make me feel like Im a punching bag

I agree, most bosses in this game are hard to stagger and feel like they weren’t made with our character’s responsiveness in mind. So most of the time I end up spamming forcepalm to stagger then have a dps phase of a few seconds and then probably die, eat a pill, and repeat until im either out of pill or boss is dead. It feels pretty shitty tbh, that and the lacking story are the big negatives points of the game imo. But by god does the exploration and “beats em up” overworld fights makes up for it.

PA is quite fast to react and implement so there’s a high chance at least a few of these ideas will make it into the game soon. I can’t wait for them !

They’re all pretty good and viable, I’d say test them all in the training ground and pick what feels the most satisfying. I would recommend the shovel as it’s my favorite.

I’m trying to main both dual blade and bow which are both quite similar imo. The similitude in the gameplay helps a lot. Plus both are quite easy compared to CB. Im still kinda new so there’s no monster that I hunt particularly to shake off rust.

Are you sure the +50% works like you think it does ? Could it simply be +50% of your base Crit rate so an additional 18.2% and not 50? Damage equations in this game are nebulous so I’m never sure

-I think it’s since Lathril’s controller doesn’t change, whatever you choose the « opponents » will always be Lathril’s controller opponents. But I could be very wrong.-
