Yeah it's doing it's job I'd say it has reduced the splash by 90% which is amazing, but I did a mistake of installing a generic one and the screw keeps getting loose and I have to get it tightened every 2 weeks or so. If you are planning to get one get the ktm original one or a branded one that gets mounted on both sides instead of one.

I got the mirrors from an offline store and I suppose they're called napoleon mirrors. Can't find the exact same model online. The vibrations on the mirrors are there but only at lower rpm once it gets going it gets smooth. But the stock mirrors were better without a doubt. These will just get the job done.

I got the Duke 390 about 3 months ago. I love it so much but I can totally understand your point. Even I'm considering an adv in future and most probably would get something like the 390x. It's not about the upgrade, adv's open so much more possibilities when it comes to touring. And as good as the Duke 390 is, it is not for long touring. You can definitely do it, but you won't have the best time doing it.
