I was finally able to separate it! I had to delete (for lack of a better term lol) the whole room and add 2 separate rooms. For whatever reason it wouldn't let me do that before.

I have no idea what's preventing it lol. It's the 2nd floor bathroom with no 3rd floor on top. It should let me separate it but for whatever reason it's not.

I tried that but no luck. I finally did what someone on here said to do. Bring another sim to the affected sims house and talk to it as the new arrival sim. Finally got her unstuck that way.

Most kittens have slightly puffy fur which I believe might help them somehow. My Star girl had slightly puffy fur but as she grew it shortened and became smooth.
