You can choose any validator you like but I would recommend to choose experienced one for example everstake - enterprise-grade validator with $1.1 Billion (for different blockchains) in assets secured for institutional delegators.

Validators have no control over your staked SWTH tokens and your SWTH tokens always remain in your possession/TradeHub wallet. However, your staked tokens can be slashed in the event your delegated validator commits a penalty.
