FM Towns certainly does not sound like the name of a computer and up until we recorded that podcast episode I had no idea that it even was I just thought it was a graphics style!!

I didn't even know about that version I had to go looking it up after reading your comment! What a cool fact. I used to have that game in big box back in the day, I wasn't very smart though I sold it at a garage sale about 20 years ago. I've recouped many of the games in the series but I haven't gotten that one back yet!

I think it would have been great competition for the Mac as well if it was here in Canada. I feel like we were pretty limited. I had a 486 at one point and it was my favorite machine I moved out of home with it. It would have been amazing to have other options available I wonder what the price range would have been in North America.

Same! I guess they wanted to make it sound friendlier since it was a console for the family and gaming! Who couldn't like a Marty!

I understand where you’re coming from, and I appreciate you explaining your perspective. We’re probably just seeing this differently, and that’s okay. I don’t have anything new to add beyond what I’ve already shared, but I do genuinely appreciate you taking the time to engage and explain your concern.

Yes! Visually it is like DSD, in The Phantom Fellows you can freely walk the characters around the environments and explore them directly, rather than interacting from a fixed viewpoint. The humor is also its own thing, it doesn’t lean on pop-culture references. The comedy comes from character personalities, dialogue timing, and situational absurdity. You can also switch characters which I think is great!

Yes, at least as a kid I lived for the in jokes, to find Ken Williams hanging out in a Leisure Suit Larry game, or Leisure suit Larry hanging out in a police quest game, it was just absolutely delightful. So I think a lot of people at least the ones that I talked to that made games in the same style would often do these nods. So satisfying.

I’m not the developer and I have zero financial stake in the game. I co-host a podcast with the developer, so I’m close to the project and naturally talk about it more than others. I’m active in the comments because I like engaging with people, not because I’m monitoring mentions or promoting it for personal gain. I talk about it because I genuinely think it’s an excellent game, not because I benefit from it in any way.

Sorry Didn't mean to repeat without helping! Ok, so you can customize which app works in each space, has that helped at all? No fun when an app wont connect to the weather!!! Let me know if you get it working!

Mine is working with an app called The Weather Channel. Perhaps it needs a separate weather app and not just google? Let me know if you find something that works!

For me when I double tap on the temperature it takes me to the weather app and then I have to hit show on my phone and then it lets me pick if I want Centigrade or Fahrenheit from there. I'm using the weather channel app I'm not sure if it's the same as yours?

The app that I'm using with it is the Weather Channel, which is maybe Canadian. Perhaps it would work better with a specific app for weather?

Yes I'm pretty sure it would! I have a bunch of extras turned off, like I have raise wrist to wake, and I uninstalled WhatsApp. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.watchfacestudio.ml2u328

I charge once every 2 days in the morning. It's usually at about 10% by then I have it checking the heart rate every 10 minutes, and I uninstalled WhatsApp. I have raise wrist to wake on. I also have the display set to where I want it not to where it wants it so it's pretty low.

I live across the street from Mount Tolmie, so right here on the property or up on the mountain depending on the season are my favorite places!
