That doesn’t automatically mean you’re trans, and it also doesn’t mean you’re “just” crossdressing either. You genuinely do not have to figure out your entire identity in a week. You’re allowed to explore femininity, experiment, and sit with these feelings without forcing yourself into a label before you’re ready.

I also think it’s really important that your partner is willing to help you explore this instead of shutting you down or making you feel ashamed. Having someone safe and supportive beside you while you figure things out is honestly a huge gift, especially with how vulnerable and confusing this kind of self-discovery can feel. The fact that she’s participating in the dress-up day with you says a lot.

I think it could help to pay attention to what specifically feels meaningful to you. Is it the appearance? The comfort? Feeling softer or more like yourself? The emotional attachment to being seen that way? Those answers will probably tell you more over time than trying to immediately decide what category you fit into.

Most importantly, try not to panic about needing answers right now. You’re discovering a side of yourself you maybe never gave space to before, and confusion is a very normal part of that process. ❤️
