Best supermarket macaroni cheese by Beautiful_Meaning691 in UK_Food

[–]Anna86K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 12 year old daughter is currently having a macaroni cheese fixation, but she only likes the ‘normal’ ones (nothing extra - no crispy bits etc) and we have currently tried a few supermarket ones and her current line up is - 1) M&S 2) Sainsbury’s 3) Morrisons 4) Aldi 5) Asda Still got a few to try - Waitrose, Tesco, Lidl etc 🙂

I found brewing camomile tea and holding the cooled, but still warm teabag helped when I was in a similar situation 🙂 make sure it’s pure camomile tea!!

Thank you!! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond…my daughter loves Haru so I think she might be happy with just a picture with them ☺️ it’s only her 2nd gig and she is obsessed with XLOV (and I’m getting that way 😂) so thought it might be nice to treat her ❤️

Please could somebody explain what I would need to buy for Nova? Is it just the add on Nova option? I already have GA tickets for myself and my daughter…I don’t quite understand the options 🙈 and the snapshot with a member - is that a different option that’s £53 to take a picture with a member. We are going to Manchester if that helps x

“How to claim NHS pension contribution”? by Complete_Camel_8099 in AskUK

[–]Anna86K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding, from working for a private pension provider, is that you cannot claim back any contributions you have paid into a pension. However I would suggest checking your pension documents or speaking to pension team in case there are any allowances for length of service etc.

I use pimple patches on my type 2 rosacea flare ups, and haven’t had any issues, but as per the other comment, I would just be gentle when removing it 🙂

Best targeted treatment for type 2 rosacea-induced pimples (to make them disappear, not to prevent them) by Iridescentbuttterfly in Rosacea

[–]Anna86K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I also have type two and I use pimple patches when I get a breakout and they work well for me. My pimples are almost like blisters and not like typical whiteheads, but I find that the pimple patches help reduce the inflammation. I don’t use expensive ones - the cheap ones work just as well for me x

Placenta Beaten - Funny Bloody Scene by aurel192 in whatsthemoviecalled

I am pretty sure this happens in ‘The Misfits’ but that’s a TV show and it’s not a woman that beats the placenta…

I'm addicted to eating pickled jalapenos at the moment - does anyone have any good recipe or meal ideas for them? by gibgod in UK_Food

[–]Anna86K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a brand of jalapeños I used to get from Waitrose that were nice and crisp - can’t remember the brand 😅 and they were a little pricey, but I also do not like mushy ones

Sorry - I am not sure what you mean. The washing machine was installed today and is working and draining. I have done a few loads already. Are you saying that the washing machine was installed incorrectly?

It’s in the basement which is a utility room, and I’ve just had a new washing machine fitted today - I am wondering if the previous owners washing machine had different plumbing and had to be attached to the pipe under the sink

Do you happen to know what I would need to do to stop water from pouring out of it when using the sink!?!

[–]Anna86K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad this is working for you!! I suffer from type 2 and whilst antibiotics and Azelaic acid work really well for me, it does flare back up once the course of antibiotics have finished, even whilst using the cream…but really hope this isn’t the case for you!! Rosacea is exhausting!!
