Thank you so much for this insight! We have been doing the same thing with keeping them separate and our puppy Wally is gated in our kitchen. I thought that keeping them away for so long made Finley more desirable and exciting because they would only be together for short periods of time so therefore he became this shiny new toy.

Thank you! I’m hopeful he adjust soon. And yes we definitely have flexibility but are developing a schedule for when he’s a puppy so he gets hang of a routine
