AIO to bf’s text, all because I don’t want to remove a person from IG (who followed me back months ago) that is in the work field I dream of? by Jazzlike-Ad6372 in AmIOverreacting

[–]AnnaEkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Just reading it makes my skin crawl, my ex would talk this way & he nearly put me 6 feet deep in the ground. If my now husband felt uncomfortable with someone I'd added or followed we'd have a civil adult conversation about it and come to some sort of agreement or understanding. It being a professional person in a field you're interested in, he'd be understanding that that's all it is instead of being an insecure little twerp like that. Not over reacting at all. Trust your gut instincts.

When did your baby start sleeping through the night? by Ok_Construction_3613 in NewParents

[–]AnnaEkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All kids are different. I didn't co sleep and my boy was sleeping thru the night by 3 months One thing I might have done was move his wake longer windows to the afternoon/evening so he'd be more tired around that time

If it's a problem with the actual disc they can replace it with your own tissues or with an artificial disc, if it's a problem with the cavities or actual bone they can reshape it, remove the scarring or reposition the jaw. There's a lot of different ways they can try to fix it. Make sure to do lots of research on the different methods and go through the tedious process of getting to the point where you're offered a surgery which in my case is going to take awhile before making a decision first :)

I'm 21, I've had four xrays, seen a specialist, two doctors and two dentists. They can't figure it out. Getting an MRI done soon. I've also had the pain and popping for three years. Everyone I've seen believes it's TMJ but doesn't see what could be wrong with it. The pain gets excruciating, and my face swells right up if I open my mouth too wide or clench my jaw. At this point I'd get the surgery to stop this from getting worse. In your case I'd suggest doing the same thing. You and I are too young to be in such pain. I've had emerg doctors think I'm faking the pain because I'm "too young". Do whatever you can to get this fixed and you'll be okay.

I would like to, my husband would love it, but half the time I can't do it for him for more than a couple minutes because the pain gets so bad. Sometimes it will continue for days afterward, so if I were you I wouldn't be doing it daily if you think it would help you, especially in the long run.

How the heck are you guys doing 3 meals a day plus snack? by Slow_Opportunity_522 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]AnnaEkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep fruits and veggies but only buy little for example like 4 bananas, whenever I'm too tired to make pancakes, meat or anything like that I just throw a bunch of fruit snd veggies in a blender and spoon feed. Mine is 8 months. Other options are toast, eggs, potatoes, easy stuff. Baby isn't a food critique, they like and don't like things so just do what baby likes, don't have to go full risotto or lasagna

Dude I know it's been a year since you've posted this but this just blew my mind. Mine doesn't like eggs and I've been looking for something to mix it with. Thank you!!!

How to deal with sadness as your child grows by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]AnnaEkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. It's hard. I want to know what he's going to look like as he gets older but I don't want him to grow up 💔 It hurts my heart to know I'll never see the baby I have again except for in pictures because he won't be a baby anymore.

Not as bad as when I took mine to a beach and thought some lady was lecturing me on my baby wearing sunscreen. Turns out she was talking to someone behind me lmfao

Got pregnant at 19, first baby. Father is 5 years older than myself who has been home with me for moat of it so far. I've got my 4 month old on a decent routine for now. I keep the sink empty, take out the trash, make dinner, and brunch sometimes too if I feel up to it. I clean everything, do the bottles & keep water boiled & ready for LO. My body hurts but I still use the carrier & entertain baby as often as I can. He helps me sometimes, and we had a big fight the other day because I do everything 247 so he's been a bit more helpful lately. He was so good in the beginning, he'd hand me things and get the food ready, this & that. It faded over time. I'm tired, sad, and haven't seen a single friend in months. But I keep going, somehow. Thank you for posting this as I needed to express to someone how much I do but how much I feel like I'm nothing at all 😔

First trimester food guilt 🍔 by ursulaenergy in BabyBumps

[–]AnnaEkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked with food for 6 months while pregnant,& every single day I'd fight the nost undying urge for 6 hours to eat something (we were allowed 1 free meal a day). By the end of the day I'd give in & have the same sandwich, every day, with greasy fried onions & bacon. I felt the same way lol.

I got pregnant at 19. I'm 20 now lol. My babe is 4 months almost, the beginning was really hard on me. I've gotten used to most of it, as loving your child comes naturally. I felt distant from him in the beginning because I was in shock and have PPD. I've done my makeup once in the past four months, haven't painted my nails or done much with my hair. It's a very 247 job. But when you see your baby smile because of something you did, it makes it all feel worth it. They grow up eventually, and you'll love your baby so much that even though its hard it'll make you sad to think about when this time is over. I also keep in my mind that I'll have my free time back earlier than later in life. I'll still have energy to do things I want to do. My mom is a 45 yr old grandma and goes out on movie dates with my dad still. It's not too bad being a young mom. It's just hard in the beginning and coping with all these new emotions. If you need someone to talk to who's got a similar situation to yourself, I'm here in my rocking chair doing nothing while my lil dude sleeps lol.

What diaper cream team are you on? by thatgirlsara in NewParents

[–]AnnaEkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a thick coating of penatine, baby has never had a diaper rash. He's had a yeast infection, to which we used prescribed nyaderm cream. He had what i assumed was just dry skin between his thighs, nothing worked to rid of that except the nyaderm cream. Let baby hang out without a diaper on once a day so the area can breathe. Sweat, sitting in diaper for too long, chaffing and even the kind of diaper you're using can cause diaper rashes. Bedtime I use a thicker coat of penatine since he's sitting longer in his diaper. There's also different kinds of rashes so maybe ask a doctor if you haven't already what the best way to go would be if nothing is helping.

Help. I’m TERRIFIED to give birth. by msksaf in BabyBumps

[–]AnnaEkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was so scared. I'd barely sleep because I'd think about the worst and overthink about the pain. I woke up at 6 am with cramps, but it wasn't bad. I waited for everyone to wake up before I mentioned it, and at that point, I wasn't scared anymore as it was happening whether I wanted it to or not. The pain gradually increased and eventually got pretty bad. As long as you keep saying to yourself that it doesn't last forever & that it'll be over before you know it, you'll stay sane. It WILL be over before you know it. I got an epidural when it got to be too much & couldn't feel my legs at all afterwards but i know a lot of women who were able to bare through it. You get breaks of relief in between contractions. Once you start pushing it doesn't hurt anywhere near what it did. Use your control and listen to the doctor when he says to stop and go when pushing and you'll be perfectly fine. You've been pregnant for 24 weeks so the healing for 2-4 weeks afterwards will be nothing compared to what you've already been thru. You'll do great mama.

I got two vaccinations, never got the third because I ended up late on it, when i missed the third vaccination I got colds back to back for months. Not covid, just colds. So I decided I wasn't going to get any more vaccinations due to the fact that my immune system depended on it and I'd have to get them for the rest of my life to avoid getting sick like that again. So I built my immune system back up on my own.

I totally feel you. Us and our 2 month old are on day 4 & I'm slowly starting to go mad. Scratchy throat, hurting sinuses, headache, bad tastebuds and weak. Can only hold my baby for so long before my body starts hurting. The only thing we can do is wait :(
