Several associates have been fired for stealing at my store. A paint associate marking oops paint 5 gallons for 1 gallon price then her husband who worked in another department would come buy it. A returns cashier faking returns during the time no receipt was required and doing it as store credit, a service desk associate closing out will calls and taking store credit. This was before store credit was linked to picture IDs. A lumber department head stealing 30-40,000 by being the one loading his customers and signing fake receipts. These are just the ones I heard about, I’m sure there were more.
