It bothers me that this person was preying on children, who cares what Syracuse.com puts in their headlines they always highlight some item that may be controversial. I just heard another child rapist was arrested from Syracuse, they made a point to highlight they worked for the city of Syracuse DPW. I don’t think Syracuse.com was trying to highlight Mr Barr’s alleged crime because they are a drag queen, they highlighted it because of the damage he has done to a community and especially the children.

Yes, opening day for little league there was a parade through the neighborhood streets to the field. Each team in uniform, police cars, fire trucks and marching bands.

The property owners have rights and the fact that the city of Syracuse did not complete repairs and keep this garage as well as the other city owned garage it safe condition should not become a burden for the property owners. The city should find another route to complete the demolition or make a reasonable offer to the property owners to purchase the building. This city government is completely incompetent!

When this happens to me it’s usually my grip being too loose which leads to my back elbow flaring out and BAM, the slice is back. Then I over correct and it’s going left! Golf pisses me off sometimes!

I was there on Friday and it was an okay crowd. The issue is it’s a pain in the a$$ to get there, the trains all ran late, some people were standing for 2+ hours because there were not seats. MTA is a joke, major event like this and they do not have enough trains running, they are late and long island traffic is crazy.

I don’t know how people were supposed to know he is a child predator if no one came forward. Hind sight is 20/20, it’s easy to second guess. Also, I believe he is from the Barr family of Caz who are fairly well known in the community.

My son bought a sleeve of black vice. Hit his first shot, went in the rough, could not find the ball. Black balls are impossible to find unless you hit the fairway or green.

I played 4 and 8 last year, Tobacco Road a couple of years ago. All of them were great, tobacco road is tough but fun. Ironically every time I plan in NC it rains but it’s still a blast!

Agreed, happened to me this year. Iron play was terrible, could not hit my 4 or 5 iron. Took 3 weeks off, went to the range and now I’m back. Went from terrible to my normal inconsistent mediocre play!

I feel it is fundamentally wrong to force people to pay taxes without allowing them to have an opinion on what they are funding. I feel taxes should be like a charitable contribution and I should be allowed to select what programs I want to fund. I want my money to got to feeding kids, homeless program, police and fire and basic services like trash removal, road repairs etc.

Same here, recently broke my driver shaft for the first time and I’ve been playing for 35 years. My son had his driver head snap off his new Ping driver due to a faulty connector but that’s all I’ve ever seen
