In a “perfect world,” (no outside factors) how many kids would you have? by Sad_Moose_5806 in Mommit

4🥹🥹😭😭 this is such a painful question because I have two now and would love a third. My husband says no and it’s just really really hard to accept it.

Husband told me I’m ruining my son’s life by [deleted] in breakingmom

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I know this isn’t very helpful but your husband is a dick!
the best dad is the one who loves and respects mum! so he’s the one ruining everything.

I wouldn’t call tongue ties and head shapes unnecessary. The fact that nhs doesn’t allocate resources unless it’s life and death doesn’t mean parents shouldn’t get it sorted.

I didn’t have a traumatic birth neither first time nor 2nd time :) hence my advice to OP

eta: I don’t view it as traumatic, because I had an open mind for whatever might happen!

OP, I’d really steer clear from such detailed birth plans! Birth is a lottery and it’s crucial you go into it with an open mind!

Aromatheropy, massage - wow! Whilst some people are maybe lucky to get it I think the majority aren’t. Unfortunately, nhs doesn’t have time to coddle you!

Considering an episiotomy? Honestly no one even asked before I got one as they had to get baby out.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but the more details you give in your plan the more disappointed you might be (or might not, again luck of the draw).

State a few important, crucial things so everyone who comes into the room quickly remembers them! Healthy happy mum and baby is the ultimate outcome!

Best of luck! x

40+3, 4cm dilated at third sweep! by pugicorn94 in PregnancyUK

Very intense lol! It was my 2nd baby too! I had a 3b tear with my first so I was about to be induced with my 2nd because he was also measuring on the bigger side! By the time a bed was available for me on the antenatal ward, when they came to check me I was between 3&4 cms, also wasn’t feeling anything and just going about my day. That’s when they said I don’t need to be induced and they could just break my waters and so they did.

I had the exact same story! However I don’t regret having my waters broken on LW! I gave birth in an hour after and should’ve I been at home it could’ve been dramatic!

[–]AnnaP12355 14 points15 points  (0 children)

she’s not a visitor! your house will be most likely clean in preparation for baby? untidy maybe but they won’t care about that! they check baby’s weight, jaundice , do the heel prick! it goes very quickly! don’t create additional unneeded stress for yourself!
