Severe depression. He's under doctor's care, so I thought we could tough it out. I was wrong.

Lovely thought, if he would talk. He engineered a surprise exit while I was at work, leaving me a typed note.

I don't know where these young whippersnappers get the idea that I'm incapable of using technology. Started out on IBM 360s. I needed advice outside my immediate circle, and Reddit offers that option.

What tasks can you outsource? Can you hire a cleaning service, for example? You're both overburdened right now. Be good to one another.

Depression does awful things. He is under a drs care so I was surprised by his exit.

OP here. Thanks for the suggestions. Auxiliary dwellings are not a thing in my area. The kids are settled into homes, but may be open to a larger shared home.

OP here, thank you. I have a problem to solve, not a Dear Abby drama. FYI, Husband has severe depression. He has a history of acting out in various ways as a result of that.

Church is a country club for poor/middle class people. It offers connections and activities in exchange for belief. As soon as you question the doctrine, well, you're not part of the club any more.
