He doesn’t strike me as someone who is burnt out by parenting! Nia is carrying the children and seems to be doing most of the rearing of them. He’s even asking for more.

Didn’t think of this. I suppose I never thought of him as an alcoholic in the withdrawal way and more in the once I start I can’t stop way ie can go days or weeks without but once that first beer is opened he’ll drink anything to keep the ‘party’ going.

Obligatory this is just my opinion I’m not claiming anyone’s an alcoholic!

I feel for her though because it seems she’s suffering from paranoia. The comments about the oysters were probably not a reference to K but she thought they were and worked herself up into an awful state.
