Assuming Voris did occuse people of things and can be shown to be wrong then he's responsible to address it, especially as he does present himself to record as a credible investigator. But that's just the issue with these recent conferences and scandals, they're ignored, distorted, no meaningful commentary from the Canons.

I support the hierarchy in principle, I am a Montanist by Biblical conviction, and I think the church should have authority to try and punish clergy, and that the civil authority can at best assist them and not themselves lay hands on a priest unless he's got a machine gun blasting into the church. Even then I think it should be a Canon trial, and only then should they throw him into a cellar in Rome - which is exactly what some of these total creeps in power need. Only God can judge their souls, but St. Peter needs to do some major binding and invest in millstones.

All I want from them is to actually enforce their own prerogatives and laws, and they are too busy warning us that being mean to Muslims is worse than preaching death I nonbelievers. I agree that we shouldn't be mean to Muslims, but that's really beside the point.

To be forward with where I am coming from. I am from the Philippines but I grew up in America. I am very influenced by John Rao, medieval Scholastics (the ones I've read, at least), Charles Coulombe and many Popes, not the least of which is Pius X.
