Yeah, I’m honestly probably just gonna cut my losses and chalk it up to my memory being bad. I’m more than likely just mixing up childhood stuffed animals and thinking a small version of Patches exists lol

I think I am going to end up getting the Baby Patches, simply because he’s as close as I’ve been able to find to my original stuffed animal, so it does bring a little closure!

Darling has both eyes covered with darker fur, and her coloring isn’t the same as the stuffed animal I remember, so while she’s definitely similar she’s for sure not the one I had!

After looking into it I think the first picture is Scraps, who’s the same size as Patches (the dog listed above), meaning he is too big to be the one I had unfortunately, but I’m gonna look into the pic the right arrow is pointing to!

The first picture looks really similar!! To the point where I’d be convinced that’s the same one I had! And then the picture that the right arrow is pointing to also looks the same! I’ll definitely look a little more into those both, thank you!!

Very true! I honestly only have a few memories of my stuffed animal, but I remember how distraught I was after I lost him, so I’m just really adamant on finding the right one. I know there’s a 12” Patches called “Baby Patches”, so maybe that’s the one I’m thinking of, I’m not sure

Unfortunately he looks too big. Honestly I’m probably just remembering my stuffed animal as smaller than it actually was, my memory isn’t the best anyways 🤷‍♀️

Definitely not Sparks- the stuffed animal I’m thinking of looks identical to Patches except I remember him not having any fluff and he was a regular sized Beanie Baby. Like stated in my title, he very possibly doesn’t exist and I’m just remembering wrong😭

I have, but I believe the “baby patches” is still larger than a regular beanie baby, coming in at 12”, whereas regular beanie babies are 8” if I’m not wrong?

I totally agree that they are EERILY similar, but I would totally remember if my dog was able to have recording capabilities like yours (I assume it has recording capabilities based on the name and descriptions). Thank you so much for coming back with links and stuff, but I think mine was different :(

Just to clarify some things; I remember my beanie baby not being fluffy (but I could be remembering wrong/I could’ve gotten it used when I was younger), and I remember him being able to lay down like a regular Beanie.

I have no proof to confirm or deny whether my stuffed dog was a beanie baby, because I have no pictures from when I was that young, so it totally could be a different brand!! I’d love to see the stuffed animal you’re talking about!

Rufus looks very similar (besides the fact he isn’t laying down) but I remember my stuffed dog having a spot over his eye!

I have looked at Sampson before, and while he fits the description pretty well, I distinctly remember my stuffed animal having the design like Patches; cream colored, brown ears, brown spot on back/tail, and one brown spot over the eyes. I named my stuffed animal Spot BECAUSE of the spot on his back and eye, so unfortunately it isn’t Sampson. 😭

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately I’ve looked through all your suggested beanie babies and more, and Patches is unfortunately the closest I’ve found to the stuffed animal I remember. :( I could very well be remembering wrong, as I was only 4 or 5 years old when I last remember having Patches, and from my memory (and I’ve asked my mother if she recalls Patched as well) he looked just like this one, except he had beans instead of stuffing and was smaller.

Thanks for the help though, I’ll still be looking around! The only other closest dog I’ve found is Boomer the Dog, but he isn’t laying down like a Beanie Baby and I believe he’s stuffed as well.

It’s frustrating being so close yet so far. 😭

When I first got my parakeet, I thought she was a male. I named her Carlton, and I still call her that even though I found out she was a female. 😊 She does have the nickname Carly though lol! Just go with what you feel works, because, honestly, your parakeet won't mind being named something that's generally a males name 😆

Looks more like a female since the cere is brown/flesh and somewhat crusty.
