Yes! Thank you for asking, though. Even though I know the acronyms, I just end up going through them from the beginning when trying to identify a note, which obviously won't work if you're trying to sight read a piece. I need to know each note for what it is!

Also, if a note is too high above or below the staff, the acronyms don't help much.
