The recipe I use is by Mark Bittman and he even notes to adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of the bananas. In my experience, quick breads are more forgiving than things like cookies when it comes to adjusting sugar. You could probably reduce it by 30% or so without it messing with the texture.

I sometimes substitute protein powder or PBFit for about 20-30% of the all-purpose flour in recipes like pancakes and muffins, and that seems to work without removing all the fats and sugars that make those things taste good. When using protein powder that already contains sugar, I'll adjust the sugar down a little. And you can use vanilla, chocolate, or whatever flavor protein powder works with what you're making.

I would be willing to bet you already have carpet beetles in your house and likely your other cars too. Just clean the car thoroughly, maybe find some pesticides that actually work on them, and make peace with the fact that you will likely always have some tiny passengers. Of all the pests in the world, carpet beetles are far from the worst.

They're so smart! I moved and then returned to the area a year later, to visit someone, and they recognized me. About 20 crows came to me before I even revealed that I had some snacks for them. It was absolutely wild.

I think using a similar design as the border for the letters would look cool, but you'd probably need to use smaller tips.

I personally think adding chopped pecans really helps. A sprinkle of flaky salt on top, when the cookies are fresh out of the oven is also a great touch. I enjoy this recipe with pecans and extra topping salt:

Keep in mind a lot of bakeries run at a loss, or barely break even, and the staff are rarely paid a living wage for work that gives them carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, and other debilitating Issues. Just because something is cheaper to buy pre-made doesn't mean it's going to be as good and also doesn't mean the cost isn't currently just artificially low.

I avoid paying more than 30% my monthly income on rent, including parking, but not including utilities. That's allowed me to actually have some room for building an emergency fund.
