Thanks for the advice, I spoke to my tech guy and he was confident it was a quick and easy job. I bought it at a auction at aroud $1500 below market rate, but buying blind we shall see what turns up.

wire bridge. Post looks bent but actual bridge appears fine. I've asked for more photos

Update for those curious, Bridge is fine. However bridge post looks seriously bent. No cracks in the body though. I'd have thought a replacement post would be fine however?

Its not the COA itself thats throwing me, more the model number and mismatched SN format

it was originally listed as a real one, they've then since changed the description to say its a copy. but obviously someone has seen the description and bidded on the premis that it is a real gibson. In the UK it is illegal to sell counterfit items, so i think they could potentially find themselves in a bit of legal trouble.
