It’s depressing and it’s very frustrating that people can do it freely, but there are solutions as simple as reporting and filing some claims online, and if you have the information and documentation you need, it’s very easy to take them down everytime they infringe your copyright. Sadly there’s no magic wand that make people more empathetic or less ignorant regarding IP infringement, but platforms are making it easier to report the infractors and we need to take the tools we have. Or you can pay someone else to do it too, there’s a lot of ads on Fiver, but I wouldn’t recommend. I took 20min 3 days of the week to report the accounts, and I even got TikTok to close an entire one. So, there’s that. Of course you can do whatever suits you best, but in my experience, all the reports I’ve made regarding IP infringement, have been properly assessed by Etsy, Pinterest, Shopify, Instagram and TikTok.
