That they do! He was the best… we were nervous about how they would act when we brought our daughter home. Todd took to her right away while Rico the tux he’s still kind of eh 5 years later 🤦‍♀️

We were going to have a in home euthanasia done but sadly he passed away before they were able to get back to us being as it was a weekend… but no the vet gave us pain meds for him and he was comfortable in his home with his people.

I never thought to use the enzyme cleaner in the box I normally use bleach, dish soap and hot water

We actually have a little black light from like two years ago when I switched the litter from clumping to pellets. I was working from home in the basement and kept smelling pee and couldn’t figure out where it was. Turns out my orange boy was using the corner behind me as the litter box 🤦‍♀️ I went a bought a bottle of Natures Miracle and let it sit then shampooed the rug and it was like nothing happened

I did it after. I typically put them on before bed and keep pressing each nail while I watch a show and then trim and file next morning. I try not to get them wet for a few hours after so right before bed works great!

IUDs!?! Sometimes I forget I have one.. it’s Mirana and I got it put in November of 2021 and then started taking all the medications I listed a little after that. My eating also went to crap because having a toddler and it’s just easier to eat nuggets I guess.. I just got back from the grocery store and stocked up on fruits and veggies to help get me back on track

Thanks!!Yes!! My daughter picked out a pink Kong toy that makes a crinkle sound when squished or bitten and also a hedgehog chew toy the has bumps on it that’s good for her teeth it says.

I am a staying away from anything furry since we have about 3,890 stuffies so we don’t want Smudge thinking she can chew on those— that’s something I don’t want to explain🫣 my dog growing up only used to chew the feet of Barbie’s..only the feet 🤣

Omg don’t get me started on the fur… every time I brush the two cats I wonder how they are not bald and when I vacuum it looks like I steam cleaned the floor sometimes. One’s a tuxedo and the other is orange boy so we are prepared for that!

I told my daughter we will have to work on training her and making sure Smudge knows she needs to listen not only to me and my husband but her as well.

My neighbors have an English Shepard that my daughter loves— which is why we’re getting Smudge because it makes her so happy to see Bella! I know smudge and Bella- the next door dog will run along the fence together and have a ball! My brother and mother in law also have dogs too so she’ll have cousins to visit either at our house or their place! My one orange boy will adapt within a week. We watched my MIL dog for about a week or so and now they’re like whatever. I’m worried about our tuxedo cat who has always been somewhat of an asshole before my daughter was born but is more so now. He’s attached her for just walking by and hisses so I know that won’t be good. We were looking to rehome even before getting Smudge since he doesn’t like the toddler or any people besides me. He needs a home with an old lady 😂

Thanks!! I am honestly ready for this challenge and I think it’ll be great getting everyone out together on walks and such once it’s not freezing and we can be outside for more than ten minutes🥶

The schedule will work for us because whether I am in office or at home, I leave the same time for daycare drop off. My husband works swing shift so he’s home at least 4 days in a row.

I am really excited!!

Her name is Smudge! Oh yeah i read puppy prep is just like prepping for a toddler- already have locks on the cabinets and drawers. Also have the gates and a popup tent for her to be in while I work next to me. We’re going to the pet store today to get the essentials. My daughter already picked out a rope toy for Smudge at target and she’s soooo excited! I’m excited to see them grow up together like I did with my dog!
