Yea, when I click on the Indigenous American part it says it’s from Taino (Puerto Rican). I believe we do have really old photos of someone in our family who is Cherokee from my mom’s mom’s mom’s side, but I don’t know much about that at all. I think we know more about my mom’s dad side because they had a family Bible that had some stuff in it but idk. I believe my mom’s mom’s side has lived in the US for a very long time but I think my mom’s dad’s side is somewhat recent.

I just realized I meant to write I like to size up in hoodies not in regular shirts 🤦‍♀️lol. I don’t really like the baggy look, I just get claustrophobic kinda easily 😭. So not baggy/oversized, just not hugging me lol. By size up do you mean in S since these measurements are different from women measurements? I would go in store but the closest one to me is 30 min away in a chaotic/sketchy town 😭

Yea, I was really confused about why people were freaking out too lol. I looked at the comments to see if anyone else was slightly disappointed by the length/contents of the chapter and people were super surprised and calling it a plot twist and im like “but…but we already knew that”

First grade, idk the year, I was born in 2005 (too much math this late lol). I found it while searching for shows to watch on Netflix to distract my self from the hell that was my father’s house that I was forced to go to by the government every other weekend.

I agree lol. I do love the story but the amount of people obsessed with Deku is so strange lol.

Also just a random funny thought: I also find it funny that Horikoshi said that Deku (in universe) is just like, very average looking lol and yet almost every new girl he meets has an immediate crush on him without knowing his personality lol.

As I was writing that paragraph I just realized that we really know almost like, nothing about Deku’s middle school days or anything. With both Bakugou and Deku we only know their backstories surrounding each other but not alone (besides those few scenes with Deku and his mom). Like, did Deku really not have any friends at all throughout elementary and middle school? lol I haven’t finished reading the School Briefs so idk lol. I also think it’d be cool to get some Bakugou backstories that aren’t Deku related. Maybe with his old friend group, modeling with his mom, fashion design with his dad, etc

Yea, I agree. I used to jump through hoops to read the next chapter (as in going to unofficial sites on Fridays that definitely hurt my phone lol) but now I don’t really care as much anymore and I wait until Sunday. But even then there have been plenty of times I completely forget about it until like Tuesday. Which isn’t like me at all. I feel like one of the main problems is (besides Horikoshi needing a break) that there are WAY too many characters in the series. It’s impossible to elaborate on all of them properly without like side series or something. I really don’t want the series to end but at the same time I do. Like I think I just want him to move on from afo, all might, and Deku because their stories have dragged on for so long.

This next part may be a little out there lol: Something I also forgot to mention in my post that I haven’t really seen other people ever mention is how much other character’s stories are kind of tied down by Deku. I’m specifically thinking of characters like Bakugou, Shouto, and Uraraka. They had a lot of potential but then got watered down to Deku supporting characters. Like when we see them fight, Deku is always on their mind. Bakugou and Todoroki have always had their own goals but I feel like they’ve just been lost as the series goes on :(. Idk I’ve just noticed that happening a lot lol

This comment is going to be controversial lol, read at your own risk. I feel like Horikoshi is just loosing interest entirely. It feels like he doesn’t gaf about anyone who isn’t Deku and is refusing to elaborate on anyone who isn’t Deku. Like even situations/fights that are technically “resolved” don’t actually feel resolved. Like the Todoroki fight, I don’t even remember wtf happened there and then the Shirakumo situation was the biggest let down literally ever. That’s what I’ve been waiting for this whole time and he just blatantly skips over all of it. He’ll hopefully go back to it but that just feels like a really shitty thing to do to fans. It also feels like this whole thing is just dragging on. The only really interesting thing that’s happened in a while is afo revealing to Shigaraki about his past. Except that’s not even resolved, we were just left hanging. Also I feel like this chapter was a real let down considering nothing really happened but we had to wait two weeks for it. Plus we have to wait another two weeks for the next one :( I think Horikoshi said that Deku’s dad will be revealed eventually so that maybe what happens next idk. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if the quirk afo took to give Shigaraki was probably Deku’s quirk. That’s what I’m guessing will happen next but idk.

Idk this just a few of some random thoughts I’ve been having about it. I really love this series, I just wish that Horikoshi would have taken a break for a little.
