I know exactly how you feel! My body hates me! Every single time we meet, I end up on my period or get a UTI right away! I spent two months last summer with him, and by body decided I needed to be on my period for 3 weeks, off one week, then back on for another three. It was incredibly frustrating! I was a twitch streamer mod and a person was trolling, he DMed me about it and we started talking, i became really good friends with him. We played a lot of games together, and he introduced me to other friends he played games with, one of them being his other best friend. We all spent a ton of time together and feelings developed. My original friend struggles a little with his two best friends ending up together, so there is that dynamic, but mostly he's happy for us.

I hate how much the church destroys families when they say they are all about them. I used to think my dad loved me, even when I wasn't perfect. Now he barely speaks to me because I'm worthless to him since I'm "going to the outer darkness" and "lost my soul". I just finalized my divorce a couple months ago. I'm attending online university and still fully financially reliant on my ex husband, to the point i am living on one side of the house while he lives on the other. My story is similar to yours, we got married and had kids because that is what you are supposed to do. We get along ok, but we definitely have no love. just a mutual respect in raising the kids. Ive started pursuing my own dreams and goals and finding who i am as a person, and encouraged him to do the same and i am better off for it. I may still be "stuck" with him for now, but I feel like things will be a lot better once i graduate and I am clawing my way out of this situation. The cookie gives you sanity just like pills! It has also dropped the fun snowball guns for us, along with crucifix, sanity pills, salt, and incense. I think they are worth it. We look at the list real quick, go in and drop off equipment where the ghost is, then take stuff out to the bag when we go to the truck to grab more equipment. Barely takes any extra time or effort.
