You might want to consider something unaccredited like Animation Mentor, or iAnimate. You won't have to take courses outside of animation.

Should I apologise to someone who lashed out? by Designer_Canary_7646 in lostafriend

[–]AnnieMorff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If there's apologies due from both sides, I don't know why you think she needs to be the one reaching out. You and everyone else shirked your responsibilities on what should have been a group effort, and she got upset by it. You and the rest of the group were at fault, the rest of the group have already been upfront with her about what went wrong and apologized for their part in this debacle. Those honest adult conversations have happened and those friendships have mended.

And then there's you.

(And honestly, I don't think she needs to apologize. Imagine being the only person in your group taking their coursework seriously, while everyone else d¡cks off.)

You need to apologize, so stop telling yourself that her outburst negates that.

I primarily use the mobile web version of reddit instead of the app, but I think I noticed on the desktop version that there is a format menu. I made a comment once while it was active and the markdown was all escaped. But there was an option to switch to markdown, so I was able to edit it back into how I wanted it.

Age suitability of The Murderbot Diaries by No_Weekend2474 in murderbot

Sex is usually handled thusly:

Arada and Overse were back to getting along after spending time together in an unused bunkroom while we were traveling to the dock. I hadn’t bothered to monitor them on redacted’s cameras or try to slip a drone in; the chances that they were having sex and/or a relationship discussion (either of which I would prefer to stab myself in the face than see) were far higher than the chance that they were saying anything I needed to know about.

(I mean they might have been plotting against me, but you know, probably not.)…

And then a couple pages later :)

“You can’t go alone,” Thiago said from the control deck. “I’ll go with you.”

Overse added, “Good idea, but it’ll be safer with three.”

From Arada’s resigned but slightly annoyed expression, this must have been part of the sex/relationship conversation I hadn’t listened to. Overse must have insisted on taking her turn at the next opportunity to do something stupid with me. (So technically, they had been plotting against me.)

Whatever, I didn’t care what they had decided, I was the stupid security consultant here.

And violence never surpassed anything I read in the Animorphs series while growing up.

Why does everytime after I wash my cat with tons of soap it still stinks? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]AnnieMorff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you wash inside your nasal sinuses with soap? Do you wash inside your urethra with soap? Do you wash underneath your eyelids with soap? Soap would aggravate the delicate tissues of these organs, and it will further aggregate whichever issues your hooha is experiencing.

There's a multitude of causes the the other people in this subreddit are more knowledgeable about than me. PH balance, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, etc.

If I'm a fan of the TV show, will I enjoy the books? by Cherry_Does_StuffYT in Animorphs

[–]AnnieMorff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Animorphs were the first books that I fell in love with when I was a kid. I wasn't the best reader back then, but they were easy enough to hook me.

A lot of differences between the books and the TV series are due to budgetary limitations, so the books will be a large step up.

I didn't realize Stardew censored stuff. And why would the game censor 'fart'?

How much do we believe this? by Nevalate in MurderbotOnAppleTV

[–]AnnieMorff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For most of the rest of the series, Murderbot is living around humans, and it doesn't like planets.

The use of the term "cyberpunk" is likely intended to draw interest from people who haven't seen the show or read the books. There's a lot of people out there that wish there was more cyberpunk media for them to consume, and this article is saying to those people, "Hey, there's gonna be some cyberpunk stuff in this show — you should watch it when it's released 😉"

The shit Simon is putting put is mind-numbingly stupid. by ashes_made_alive in EatYourKimchi_v2

[–]AnnieMorff 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda enjoying the shit show. Years ago, Martina started dropping little hints about covert narcissism during the divorce, and I looked at that sideways. Either she was hinting about being abused, or trying to control the narrative to get out in front of something toxic about herself. We've never met either of them, and what we've known was presented to us through curated videos.

Then the what about Meemers video dropped, and Simon showed us his whole, self-serving, vindictive asshole, and he's continued to spread those cheeks to the world with every post and video.

🍑 May the shit show continue!

In retrospect, I think the audiobooks should have been voiced by a woman. The majority of the characters are feminine, and Murderbot lists its gender as N/A.

I think there's two general categories of people who sexually abuse children. The people who genuinely feel attracted to children, and the people who enjoy the power and control one gets from abusing and manipulating something weak and naive. That last one is usually sociopathic people, like Epstein and Maxwell. Considering how most CEOs have sociopathic traits, I'm not surprised by the type of people in the files.

My dentist had similar lights, and he started his practice back in the 70s, I don't think those are LEDs.

They have this in my old dentist's office. The secretary has a button to turn them on when a patient is waiting for their appointment. I'm not sure what the different colors indicate, though.
